Property information

We take real care with the property information on this site. Descriptions, photographs, measurements, prices and availability come from the property owner, the developer, or our own records, and we check them. We date them too — each listing shows when its price was last confirmed.

Even so, property information can change without us knowing immediately. A price can move, a property can go under contract, and a measurement recorded by a previous agent can be wrong. Nothing on this website is an offer or a contract, and nothing here should be relied on as the final word.

Before you commit money to any property, verify everything through your own notary, lawyer and surveyor. We will help you arrange all three.

Prices and currency

Every price on this website is in United States dollars (USD), and every figure is labelled as such. Mexican pesos and US dollars both use the "$" symbol, which is why we never show a bare "$" anywhere on this site.

Prices do not include closing costs, taxes, trust fees or any other transaction cost unless the listing explicitly says so.

Guides and educational content

Our guides describe how buying, owning, renting and selling property in Mexico generally works. They are written to be genuinely useful, and every figure is checked against its source and dated.

They are not legal, tax, financial or immigration advice. Mexican property law is specific to the property, the state and the buyer, and it changes. Your notary and your lawyer are the authority; a website is not. We will introduce you to both, and we do not charge a fee for the introduction.

Market figures

Where we publish market data — prices, occupancy, transaction figures — we check it against its source, record the date, and re-check it regularly. Ask us for the source of any figure. Where our sources genuinely disagree, we publish the range and say that they disagree rather than choosing the number that suits us.

Past market performance does not predict future performance, and no figure on this site is a projection of what any specific property will earn.

Our services

Any engagement to sell, lease or manage a property is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this website. Commission and terms shown here — 6% on a sale, a 4 months exclusive listing period, a 6 months protection period — describe our standard arrangement. Your signed agreement is what applies.

Content on this site

The text, photographs and design on this website belong to Front Door Realty or to the property owners who supplied them. Please do not republish our listing photographs or copy elsewhere without asking. Ask, and we will usually say yes.

We link to Google Maps, WhatsApp and social platforms. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for what is on them.
